REFRAMING YOUR FUTURE – AN OVERVIEW
The introductory planning workshop focuses on recognizing the “work” of today and tomorrow—anticipating and managing the transitions, options and blips of midlife and retirement.
Subsequent workshops utilize an integrated planning approach to explore the extended life options of employment, entrepreneurism, health and wellness, caring for self and others, housing, finance and having fun through learning, socializing and volunteering. Create your own “Wheel of Opportunity.”

EMPLOYMENT IN A TOUGH JOB MARKET
This workshop provides proven steps to explore the job market, assess skills and interests and begin a process to find satisfaction as a mature worker.

• Is it possible to make a career change now?
ENTREPRENEURISM
This workshop explores the feasibility of self-employment along with its challenges, risks and rewards.
• Do I personally have what it takes to be an entrepreneur (self-employed) and how do I know if this is the right decision for me?
• Shall I start my own business now or later and why?
• What resources are available to help me get started?
HEALTH AND WELLNESS
The focus of this workshop is developing a wellness mindset by managing several aspects of health, mental acuity and stress.
• What are the key practices I can manage on my own to improve my health?
• How can I improve my Wellness Inventory?
• How can I manage stress and keep my mental state positive?
CAREGIVING
Learn to understand and manage the complex and sometimes competitive roles of family caregiver, worker, parent, friend or child is a major challenge to individuals and businesses.
• How can I best care for an adult child and/or a frail, elderly relative?
• What are the consequences of long-term caregiving?
• What resources and supports are in place for unpaid caregivers?
FINANCE
This workshop covers ways to manage income and expenses, basic insurance concepts, how taxes affect investment income, and the relationship between risk tolerance and investment choices in tough times.

HOUSING/SAFETY/TRANSPORTATION
In this workshop, housing choices of the future become much more than where you eat, sleep and store your clothes. Home is where you live your life, feel safe, enjoy friendships and pursue your hobbies.

HAVING FUN THROUGH LEARNING, SOCIALIZING & VOLUNTEERING
Having more discretionary time allows for new learning, socializing and making the community a better place through volunteer work while discovering and creating your legacy.
